Yes! i've been back from the THAILAND for a week already...

Gosh! i dun wanna stay longer man! nobody in the country understands me lah! wah first day already i BF... and yarlah that Thelma keeps laughing when i try to communicate with the Thais...

BUT!!! when we reached the hotel... wahhhh... we got a free upgrade for our hotel room... and we were like WAH SO BLESSED! we happily skipped into the room and Thelma went into the toilet... she screamed a bit and started laughing... OMG! look at this towel folded into an elephant! HILARIOUS! yar she was damn amused with this elephant... for like 4 days!

Drama Episode #1

wah this one i really can puke blood... we were eating at Sushi Tei at MBK one night and Thelma was having like some cramps lah... so she wanted WARM WATER...

ok fine! i know i say WARM WATER... they sure blur! i asked for HOT WATER! aiyar easier for them to understand me... at most Thelma would just have to wait for the Hot Water to cool down a bit to Warm Water...

soooooo... i got the attention of the Restaurant Manager... he MANAGER ok! and i said : excuse me, can i have some HOT water please?

he nodded his head... and GUESS WHAT? he came back with a bottle of MINERAL WATER and 2 glasses! i'm like OK! he obviously doesn't understand me...

me: hmmm... i dun want this. i want HOT WATER! u know? hot water?

He nodded his head again... and came back with U KNOW WHAT??
2 cups of HOT GREEN TEA! OMG!!! aiyor OBVIOUSLY he doesn't understand and yet he didn't wanna clarify with me! omg...

this Thelma BURST OUT LAUGHING... i was damn exasperated!

Drama Episode #2

The whole of the trip just AMUSES me... gosh! we were eating at this pizza place when i turned and looked outside! OMG! i saw like a signage with 20 different types of BREASTS???? and the title of that signage ORDER CHART ???? OMG!

i'm just so amused! hhahahaha..... it's so funny! laugh non stop.....!!!
Thelma took a photo of it! ok obscene! i won't post it here... HAHA!

anywayz... yar and on Friday night, Lyn sent me an MMS while i was there, which i didn't get to see (the sms came in saying there's a photo attached but didn't show the photo) till i went online to check my email when we met Charles Yee (ah pa) and went to his service apartment...

yarlah! very stylo milo! in singapore cannot meet... we go bangkok to meet up! hahaha!
oh he was on this business trip and we happen to be in bangkok at the same time...

Yup! and then i went online in his apartment while the Thelma Tiboleng glued her eyes to her favourite TV! omg! i tell u... she will switch on the tv whenever she gets the opportunity!
anywayz... Cheryl emailed the photo Lyn sent me!

LOOK! The Hospi Team finished setting up by 6.30pm!!!
and they took this photo to try to boast to me!!!

Gosh! i haven't been updating since before Christmas! that's a pretty long while....

been really caught up with all that last minute Christmas shopping... hmmm not really though... more of organising socials one after another!!!

Here are some back dated updates... haha

Christmas Eve:

I went back to my old parish to conduct the choir for Christmas Midnight mass... wasn't really a midnight mass though cos it started at 11pm!


my goodness! we only had 3 practices! how cool is that? aiyar but we keep repeating songs year after year... i was commenting: aiyor! i think it's the 4th year we're doing O Come All Ye Faithful for Entrance Hymn leh! and they all laughed!



Yupz!! how convenient! no wonder we could do everything in 3 practices!

yar and this year, we had a few boy sopranos (all altar boys) joining in the fun!!! gosh u guys should really come to my church next year to listen to them... that is if they join us again... they've got angelic voices! they sound like the Vienna Choir Boys! if not exactly, very close!!!

It was a whole new experience for me once again... Haven't been back in the choir for a year since i started on my *AHEM* crazy job... Conducting this year is just different though i've been doing this year in year out...



It's like doing something so familiar to me and yet different! oh wells... i kinda miss it and yeah it was nostalgic! *sobs* haha!

Christmas Day:

gosh!!! my voice was cracking by the end of Midnight service! i went straight to Charles & Ros' place with Tiffany... NO ONE was there yet except Clarence!

everyone only started to arrive at about 2am... MY MY!!! it turned into a mad house!!! everyone went round hugging each other and all, MERRY CHRISTMAS all over the place... omg! so giddy can! while i was busy helping around since i was the organiser!



boy i really lost my voice while trying to get everyone's attention a few times... i had to stand on the chair at one point to get attention!!!

it was a crazy crazy crazily FUN night... though poor Hosts were going to faint already! haha!! Trust me! their house almost exploded!!



we played "Evil Santa", everyone was snatching presents all over the place... had an intimate worship session led by our Long Service Award winner Bernard Hee... hahaha! Hee Hore!!! it was a crazy nite!

After everything.... i realise i didn't take a single photo, i haven't eaten at all and WORSE STILL!!! I FORGOT TO CUT THE CAKE for the December Babies! omg omg omg! i almost threw up the food in my mouth after i realised it!

Reached home at about 8 in the morning... wah cannot take it!! i only woke up at like 2pm and realised that i had to be at my Grandmama's house for lunch! i ignored my dad's wake up call at about 12 noon! hahaha...



It was like a huge reunion! with all the Aussieland Cousins back with us... minus their parents... it would be nice to have the back with us as well though...


Then, all the cousins went over to my Aunt's place to have another round of feasting... we all got bored and decided to watch The Holiday later in the evening...



A bit the SALA though... watching a romantic movie with a bunch of cousins!! oh wellz... we had a great time laughing and giggling!!! hahahha! relive the teenage days!!!

28 December:

Tiffy and Lyn-Lyn were gonna go home to the Aussieland! I left early from my meeting to see them off at the airport...

yes! Cassila almost lost her appetite cos of what happened...

Cass made a reservation for 12 but when we got there, they actually gave us 2 seperate tables of 6! and we wanted to sit together soooo... we wanted the hotel manager to make arrangements for us, and they took super long to get back to us!

To cut the long story short, they kept pushing us here, there & everywhere!

WAH! cassilda pissed off liao!

she immediately went up to the manager to demand for an explanation... when she came back to us, i'm like aiyor! pls.. we should ask for waiver for 1 or 2 of us...

yar then i went up to demand for it! hahahah! i dun care!
HELLO! u think coffee shop issit? can push us around all... push here, push there!

I finally made it for Women's Circle!! couldn't make it the last 2 rounds cos i had to close the cc! yar tell me about it... anywayz... yar i think the last time i attended women's circle was like during Joel's Bridal shower?? OMG! that's like 2 years ago lah!!!


I was just talking to Jules in Amp Room last week as we looked at some old photos (those hung near the door)... and we were just reminiscing the old times, not say very long ago lah... like 2 years back... how much fun we had and all...

Goodness gracious! Josie's mum prepared Chocolate Fondue for all of us... !!! Though it was a distraction.. yes yes... everyone focused on eating initially... but it was GOOD STUFF!

The theme of our sharing was "women in ministry", something very close to our hearts and we could all relate to each other as the sharing went deeper...


Josie facilitated the session and after we all were done sharing about What Ministry meant to us, Josie threw the question about Struggles or Challenges we face in Ministry/ Work/ Life/ Friendship etc...


thank goodness i wasn't the first to share... haha! allowed me some time to think it through... and as the girls were sharing, about their workplace/ colleagues... a lot went through my head...


i was just thinking about my girly friends... and about how much we've drifted apart and how difficult it is for me to relate to them as i got more and more involved in ministry...


in ministry, it's just so easy... relating to each other and really... i have to say, Amplify is like my 2nd home... it's a big part of my life!! from time to time, we're just encouraging each other, affirmations flying all around... and i know i can count on the community... ANYTIME!


And i was sharing how it hurts sometimes, the many difficult times i face, connecting to my girly friends, cos they don't know what i'm talking about whenever i try to talk to them about God.. and it's just so difficult breaking God's word in such an environment...


As much as i wanna bring them to Him and they know i'm like the "super siao on church goer", whole life revolve around church... it's just tough... and it does hurt


yup and struggles about trying not to gossip at work and all...
but sometimes u just need to CHER BA BOOM and just bitch... haha! Jesus, forgive me!


and YES! another struggle... READ! Daph was like HUH??

Tooth Fairy Part 2

Root Canal part 2... It's not over...

I went to get my tooth filled up in the morning...
had to endure more aches than the previous visit but Oh Well, everthing's in control...

I kept praying until the whole process was over...

Then..... i found out that if i wanna do a crowning, it's an additional $500...
The $300 mentioned was only taking out the nerve and having the tooth filled!
